Right keyword research and SEO strategy

Initially, I did the right keyword research for my website. I used tools like Google Keyword Planner and Ahrefs to identify keywords that had high search volume but low competition. Apart from this, I properly optimized on-page SEO such as title tags, meta descriptions, and image alt tags. This helped my website rank better in search engines.

Publishing quality and regular content

I learned that "content is king."So I regularly published useful, high-quality and SEO-optimized content. My blog posts were not only informative, but they were also providing solutions to readers' problems. This made people spend more time on my website and visit it again and again.

Social media and community engagement

It is very important to use social media properly to increase website traffic. I started sharing my posts on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Instagram. Apart from this, I also participated in Reddit, Quora and other online forums and shared links related to my website. This increased the referral traffic to my website significantly.

Backlinks and Guest Posting

Backlinks are an important part of SEO, so I started guest posting on high-quality websites. This increased my website's domain authority (DA) and improved its ranking in Google. Additionally, I networked with other bloggers to obtain natural backlinks, which increased traffic to my site.

Email marketing and newsletters

Email marketing proved to be a very effective method. I added an email subscription form to the website and started sending out weekly newsletters. This not only kept old visitors coming back to my site but also started telling new people about my content. This kept my audience growing.

The most important thing in this journey of increasing traffic by 500% in 6 months was consistency and the right strategy. By combining SEO, social media, backlinks, and email marketing, I took my website to new heights.
